award-winning trade fair exhibit & accompanying campaign, appli-tech 2018
TASK
Exhibiting at the painting and plastering trade fair appli-tech 2018 in Lucerne was the highlight of the launch campaign for the new, revolutionary Rigips® Habito plasterboard. agor worked closely with specialists in stand building and multimedia to develop an impressive exhibition stand with intuitively designed screen presentations, tactile full-scale models and an entertaining video and live climbing show. A multi-stage digital support campaign including traditional communications, such as PR and advertisements, were used for the announcement, invitation and post-event follow-ups.
CHALLENGES
The stand was visited by about 70% of trade fair visitors. The digital support campaign with email newsletter and landing pages achieved very high click and response rates. Sales of the new plasterboard subsequently increased by around 60%. Rigips Switzerland received an award from the Group’s headquarters in Paris for the best sales success (in relation to population) out of all 56 participating countries!
The exhibit won a Xaver Award in the category of “Best Expo Project” in 2019.
